Electronics tester

Manual testing of complicated electronic control cards requires a qualified electronic engineer and the work is time-consuming and costly.

HKL commissioned ET-EX Machina to design and build an automatic tester for a tram’s electronic cards. The machine can test 23 different electronic assemblies. Testing is carried out either automatically, by manual tuning, or by step-by-step fault finding.

The tester allows the very rapid, accurate, and complete tuning and testing of complex electronic equipment without the need for highly qualified personnel. Test protocols are automatically stored and sent to a server.
